We are looking for a fun and motivated therapist to join our team nine (9) days per fortnight (70 hours) (fortnightly Friday's off). The position will include working predominantly in our sensory gyms/clinic as well as providing one (1) day per week of onsite therapy in schools and kindergarten. We are a small team of dedicated Occupational Therapists who love working with children and their families. We work in a developmental nature and use the DIR Floortime™ model to guide our Occupational Therapy intervention. We create opportunities for children and families based on demand which allows flexibility to be creative in the role and enjoy developing group sessions to meet the needs of our client base. We would be very interested in candidates who have an interest in Aquatic Occupational Therapy.
You will primarily be working with children between the ages of 0 - 16 who present with difficulties often associated with: developmental delay; sensory processing challenges; autism; attention deficit disorder; genetic disorders; intellectual impairments; behavioural and emotional disorders; learning difficulties; developmental delays; and challenges with general development such as motor and social skill development.
This position has room to diversify and grow should you have the passion and would be suitable for new graduates up to experienced therapist with the role being adapted to your level of experience.

Essential criteria:
AHPRA Registration.
Professional indemnity insurance.
Access to own transport with a current driver's licence.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with clients and families.
Working with Children Check
Must have ability to work as an OT in Australia
