Ella McGrath

Ella is a warm and enthusiastic paediatric Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working collaboratively with children and their families to achieve their individual goals.

Ella graduated with Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of the Sunshine Coast and has since gained experience in varying paediatric roles. Ella also has over 5 years of experience working with children in multiple roles, including after school hours care, vacation care programs and sports orientated school holiday programs.

Ella has experience working with children with range of conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, intellectual disabilities, sensory processing differences, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X, anxiety, regulation and behavioural challenges and varying genetic conditions. Ella is committed to professional learning and developing her skills and knowledge to strengthen herself and her abilities as a therapist to assist her clients.

Ella loves building strong therapeutic relationships with all clients and their families and creating environments that children feel comfortable to be their true selves. Ella is passionate about using a play-based, strengths-orientated approach and tailors each therapy experience to the interests of the child, ensuring therapy is always motivating, playful and fun! Ella is excited to continue striving to make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

Ella is registered to provide services through Helping Children with Autism, NDIS and Medicare; Chronic Disease Management plan, and the Helping Children with Autism and Better Start Initiative twenty sessions. Kathryn is also registered to provide services with the relevant Private Health Insurance extras.
