Olivia Sun

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Olivia is a passionate Paediatric Occupational Therapist who is always keen to make connections and build positive engagements with children and their families. She graduated with a Master in Occupational Therapy Practice at Monash University, and a Bachelor of Sport Rehabilitation and Health from China.


Olivia has experience working with children with a variety of conditions across different settings including mainstream, special school, and within the community. She values person/family-centred neuro-affirming approach and appreciates the opportunity to grow with a child along his or her unique journey of development. Olivia is skilled at gross and fine motor skill building, regulation and behavioural challenges, interoceptive development (body-mind awareness and connection), as well as play and social skills development.

  • Kim Barthel Relationship Matters series - Neurobiology Matters, Be a Behavioural Detective, Treating Movement Challenges in Children with ASD( Neuro-Developmental Treatment)

  • Berry Street Education Model - a trauma-informed approach that promote academic achievements via building engagement and positive relationships

  • DIR/floortime Model of intervention - a child-led relationship-based developmental approach

  • Olivia has a particular interest in play and sensory integration and would like to further develop her clinical skills in these areas.


Olivia is also a motivated learner who is committed to lifelong learning and professional development as an Occupational Therapist. She believes that therapy is about knowing and using your strengths to experience positivity and success, by play and having fun!


Olivia is also fluent in Mandarin.
