Kate Parker

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Kate is an enthusiastic Paediatric Occupational Therapist, passionate about working collaboratively with children and their families. Kate graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy at Monash University, and a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sport Science.


She has experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and various sensory sensitivities, and is passionate about supporting children to thrive in all aspects of life. She believes in taking a strengths-based and family-centric approach, with a focus on supporting the wellbeing of both caregivers and their children.


Kate also has experience within the community setting partnering with local government bodies to develop a ‘How-to’ tool on the design and creation of community-based sensory rooms.

She adopts an intuitive, playful and child-led approach to therapy, which enables a healthy and strong foundation on which to develop long-standing, therapeutic relationships with her clients.


Kate is registered to provide services through NDIS and Medicare; Chronic Disease Management plan, and the Helping Children with Autism and Better Start Initiative twenty sessions. Kate is also registered to provide services with the relevant Private Health Insurance extras.
